A small outfit out of south Seattle

Genesis Excavation & Demolition works out of a yard on 1st Ave S in Seattle, across Tacoma, Everett and Olympia. We dig, we take things down, and we haul them away.

How a job runs

  1. 01You call

Tell us where the site is and what has to happen to it. If it is not work we should be taking on, we will say so on the phone rather than after you have waited a week for a number.

  2. 02We walk it

Ground around Puget Sound changes over short distances, and access decides more about the price than square footage does. Looking at a site is quicker than pricing it twice.

  3. 03You get a number

Written down, with what is included and what is not. The things that most often turn into change orders — stumps, buried debris, unexpected depth — get flagged then, not later.

  4. 04We do the work

Erosion control first, the dig in the right order, backfill compacted rather than pushed back in, and the site left clean enough for whoever is on next.

You deal with Stan

Genesis is small on purpose. The person who looks at your site is the person who prices it and the person who picks up when something changes on the job. There is no account manager in between.

That is the trade-off of hiring a small outfit, and we would rather be straight about it: you get someone who knows your job, and you get one phone number.
