What we take on
Genesis is a young company. What we can tell you about is the work and the ground, so that is what this page does.
- Tight lots with nowhere to stockpile
- Narrow city sites where the trucks have to be sequenced with the machine, because there is no room to pile spoil and deal with it afterwards.
- Slopes and bluff-edge ground
- Lots that fall away at the back, where the approach and the order of the cut matter more than the size of the machine.
- Soft fill and high water
- Valley and delta ground where a trench wall will not stand on its own and anything deep needs shoring, and sometimes dewatering.
- Buildings that stay in use
- Selective and interior removal sequenced around whoever else is working, priced as the slower job it actually is.
- Wooded parcels
- Clearing, grubbing and stump removal before the real work starts, on lots where nothing can get in until it is done.
What you get back
Ground cut to the grades on the plan, backfill that is compacted rather than just pushed back in, erosion control that was there from the start, and a site clean enough for the next trade to start on.

We work Seattle, Tacoma, Everett and Olympia, and the King, Pierce, Snohomish and Thurston county ground in between. The yard is in Seattle, so most of that is a short enough run that we can walk a site before quoting it.
